Her clinical work focuses on psychological assessment and individual psychotherapy for adults experiencing a range of psychological difficulties, including anxiety disorders, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), depression, personality disorders, emotional regulation difficulties, and self-esteem concerns. She has received training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) for anxiety, depression, OCD, and personality disorders, as well as Emotionally-Focused Therapy (EFT), psychological assessment, and clinical interviewing. Her therapeutic practice draws on techniques and principles from CBT, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), EFT, Psychodynamic Therapy, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), with interventions tailored to each individual’s needs and therapeutic goals. Alia believes that psychotherapy is a collaborative process grounded in empathy, trust, and an understanding of each individual’s experience. She aims to provide a safe, non-judgmental space where individuals can better understand their emotions and recurring patterns, develop more flexible ways of navigating psychological challenges, and work toward meaningful change aligned with their personal needs and goals.
