If you are in crisis
Telehealth is not an emergency service. If you or someone you know is in immediate danger or experiencing a mental health crisis, please contact your local emergency services or the Egyptian National Crisis Hotline at 16328 right away.
Telehealth counseling means receiving mental health services remotely, over live video or audio, instead of meeting your counselor or psychiatrist in person. By booking a session, you're choosing to receive care this way.
Your sessions are conducted over an encrypted connection, and your clinician is bound by the same confidentiality obligations as in an in-person session (see our Terms of Care for the limits of confidentiality, such as risk of harm to yourself or others). We recommend you join sessions from a private space and a secure, trusted network.
Telehealth sessions are scheduled appointments, not a monitored or emergency service. If you are experiencing a crisis between sessions, use the crisis resources above rather than waiting for your next appointment.
You can withdraw your consent to telehealth at any time by contacting us, without it affecting any other part of your account or your right to seek care elsewhere. Withdrawing consent means we won't be able to offer you remote sessions going forward.
