If you are in crisis
Let It Out is not an emergency service. If you or someone you know is in immediate danger or experiencing a mental health crisis, please contact your local emergency services or the Egyptian National Crisis Hotline at 16328 right away.
The relationship between you and your counselor or psychiatrist is a professional one, focused on your wellbeing. It is not a personal or social relationship, and your clinician will maintain professional boundaries throughout your care.
Our licensed counselors provide talk therapy for individuals and couples. Our licensed psychiatrists may additionally assess, prescribe, and manage medication where clinically appropriate — medication is only ever added to your record by a psychiatrist, never a counselor. Neither service is a substitute for emergency or inpatient care.
What you share in sessions is kept confidential, with these legally and ethically required exceptions:
Counseling and psychiatric care are collaborative processes, and outcomes depend on many factors outside our control. We cannot and do not guarantee any specific result from your care.
You may stop receiving care from us at any time. If your clinician believes ending or transferring your care is in your best interest, they will discuss this with you and, where appropriate, help you find continuing care elsewhere.
If you have a concern about your care, contact us at letitoutsupport@gmail.com and we'll do our best to help.
